Male anatomy of pleasure - Erogenous zones

You might seem surprised to find a theoretical article on this site. But knowledge is always good and can help understand and make use of things better. In this section, I would like to outline the relevant anatomy of males, that is the anatomy of the male reproductive system, to put it scientifically. I would rather call it...

The male anatomy of pleasure

The male reproductive system, especially the outer parts of it (i.e. the penis and scrotum), are at the same time fascinating and strange - maybe the strangest human organ system. It comes in so many sizes and shapes, it can go from a total flaccid state to a rock-hard erection in seconds, and - most important for the topic at hand - it is capable of producing a wealth of exceptionally lustful sensations.

I have read a photographer saying "The male penis is a problematic thing for nude photographers. It is too large to neglect, but too small to put in scene in a meaningful way." There might be some truth to that. Nevertheless there are many beautiful photos of nude men that do not neglect the thing. Some examples:

Erogenous zones - the landscape of lust

Let's Erogenous zones - the humoristic viewnot overlook that pleasure does not solely originate in our crotch region. There are more bodily regions that can produce pleasant, sexual sensations. These regions are called Erogenous Zones. In basic terms, an erogenous zone is an area of the body that elicits a sexual response when caressed, stroked, licked, kissed etc. Of course, in most situations, that sexual response won’t be an orgasm. But being touched in an erogenous zone feels good, is relaxing, and helps us to get 'turned on'.

There is a homoristic rendition of male erogenous zones that points to the fact that many men are somewhat fixated on their genitals... see picture above. But, luckily, men do not seem that limited in their ability for sexual pleasure. Two current renditions of male and females erogenous zones are shown below.
